A Mill by the Ford
The Milford-Miami Township area was first settled in the late 1700s by names like McCormick and Gatch that you still hear around here today. From those early times in log cabins built near the mill by the ford on the Little Miami River (hence the name Mil-ford) to the quaint yet modern downtown you see today, our little region has continued to grow and develop over the past two centuries.
